I simply love the approach of the Diwali season. 

The slight winter chill, the happy faces, the excitement of shopping, Diwali decorations and all that.Its now that the festivals has gained so much popularity and we celebrate it in various styles At home it was always the Divinity,the Pooja,the Ghee lit lamps and Marigolds.Still it remains all the more traditionally rooted at our homes.

Bougainvillea and the Indian decor

As we know that bougainvillea is only the flower that blooms throughout the year with bountiful flower and make the environment colourful and magnificent. It can be used for various purposes like decoration of houses,interiors of houses, buildings, hotels, and apartments. The species of bougainvillea are characterized by their high tolerance to pollution, drought, pests, low fertility and other adverse conditions.

Although Bougainvillea has originated in South America, but approximately 50% of the present day cultivars were evolved and produced in India.

Air is thick with the joyous preparations for the festival.Aroma of the ghee and savouries wake your senses up.Love and laughter is in the air.Flowers and diyas make their way into houses.Prayers fill the house.All good wishes for a prosperous New year.

Deepavali pooja starts with Ganesh Pujan.Floating flowers and candles and the ghee lit peacock brass lamp add to the decor of the pooja.Let that add to the occasion of offerings of prayers to The God.
