Stunning Spaces

Every Monday morning needs a little eye candy and inspiration! This morning I was searching for some new furniture designs and couldn't keep my eyes away from some of these gorgeous spaces. Each one has something I would love to have in it!

I love a room that can entertain! The way they created multiple seating spaces in this room still keeps the extra large feel but makes it very homey. The rug also helps separate the room a little bit without taking away from those gorgeous floors.

The wallpaper in this room modestly luxe. I love the way it is just a hint of color so it doesn't distract too much from the rest of the room but it gives it that something extra. I also love the dark furniture to give it some contrast.

Picking out great furniture for your room ins't always easy but in this room above it looks well thought out, but not like it's trying too hard. I love the mix and match quality of it but it still looks put together really well.
fabulous!! stunning room. floor/fireplace/cornicing etc etc

The walls in this room are amazing! I absolutely love the historical touches and how the furniture doesn't take away from it at all! They stuck with the same three colors throughout and it looks amazing.

The room above is gorgeous! I love the neutrals and the elegant layout but my absolute favorite part of this room is the subtle color they brought in with the rug and bedding! This is a fantastic way to add a little color in a room as well as a pattern!

A home makeover full of glamor and comfort!

This home has me hankering for a spa day! The luxuriousness of everything is so delicious, I could spend a whole weekend just going between the bath and the bed!

These spaces were designed by Marie Flanigan interiors, and the most fun part is seeing the HUGE difference between the before and afters!

Of the project, Principal designer Marie Flanigan states '"this project is unique because we were able to transform their spaces without simply making them larger.  We kept our focus on architectural details, natural light, and creating cozy hideaways”. Functionality was improved, architectural beauty was enriched, and the entire home became a more fitting reflection of the chic couple that lives within. "'

The Master:

"Adhering to our client’s desire to incorporate pre-existing antiques, many of their personal furniture pieces were preserved. Any new items were selected based on the unique charm they offered to the space. An over-scale antiqued French chandelier hangs at the end of the bed serving as both a distinctive focal point and a dramatic statement. The more contemporary items, such as the white animal hide bench, mirrored coffee table and gilded iron table lamps, offer modern lines that present an attractive contrast against the turn-of-the-century oak bedroom set. "- Marie Flanigan

"Our designers created the impression of increased square footage by opening up the shower, lowering the bath tub and modifying the vanity." -Marie Flanigan

Interior designer Mark Sikes' Southern California Home: Open, glamorous, and elegant

Interior designer Mark Sikes' and partner Michael Griffin's home is full of unexpected and wonderful moments of old world Hollywood glam, while still maintaining an open and organic feel.  Check it out below:
Couch in the kitchen?  How genius is that for entertainers.  Just make sure it's a stain proof, easily washed material.  Not as crazy about the pendant lights though...

Super comfy looking daybed in a super serene home library.

All the below pictures are of their devine guest bedroom and bathroom.

I would love for a bed half as dreamy as this to be in my master!

The black and white striped awning outside, as well as the black and white palette in the room makes me think of the book "The Night Circus"

Great mix of eclectic (armoire) and elegant (chair)

How unreal is this bathroom - check out the chandeliers!

Love the shower curtain that looks like drapes.  I can't figure out if that framed black and white photograph is in the shower of just a reflection...

Ultra luxe, super glamorous spaces

These rooms are truly some of the most luxe, glamorous spaces I've seen.  If you are a girly-girl, love the feeling of satin and velvet on your skin, and don't shy away from drama - these will definitely speak to you!

Amazing mirror, fab wallpaper.  A mix of textures keeps monochrome interiors from feeling flat.

White, black, and shiny surfaces (check out the ceiling!) is instant drama

...even the rug has sparkles...

While I appreciate the beauty of this dining room, I couldn't live life without pets and children :)

Love the floor!

Could you live in these spaces?  What ideas could you take from them and incorporate in your living space?

Something new: interiors with some masculine refinement

I can admit my tastes tend to lean on the girlier side, but these more masculine spaces are oozing with sophistication and whatever the male version of glamorous would be...

What would a sophisticated man space be without a bar and something chrome?

I LOVE those gloss black floors!

This inky blue space has a "cabinet of curiosities" feel to it...

Does your home have any masculine style to it?
