Martha Lights Up America
Monday, November 24, 2014
We had the opportunity to try out these news lights for ourselves! We are slowly getting ready for the holidays and decided to try out these new lights to see how they looked. As much as I love them, I need to run to the store and buy some more to finish the look:
They pair greatly with our other decorations.
I've had a traditional wreath for so long now, I am even considering getting a different one that fits with the snowflakes in the new lights!
One of my favorite things about the lights are that they are battery powered so you don't have to worry about plugging them in, and they have a timer on them!
They were really easy to hang. We bought some 3M hooks and lined them up along the post.
Do you like traditional lights or non-traditional? Are you putting up lights for the holiday season this year?
*Disclaimer - I was given these lights as a sample but the opinions are my own!

Highpoint Market Preview
Thursday, September 25, 2014
I'm so excited to show off some of Global View's High Point Market's preview's today! Their furniture trends are always on point and this season's preview isn't any different.
They are going with the color theme Copper, Ink, and Camel which I think is so fitting for fall and winter this year. Check out some of the amazing things they are offering:

Absolutely love this set up, there are so many pieces here I'd easily take home with me if I could!
For one this lamp is gorgeous! I love how simple it is and could go in any room but it's glamorous enough to shine!
These colors just coordinate so well together!
These vases would be perfect for so many rooms in my house. A touch of gold is an amazing way to brighten up a room.
Don't be afraid to go bold either!
If you want to see more, head on over to the preview & breakfast!
At home,these days...

Hello All. I have been so very busy lately that I haven't had the time to blog. And I am missing it.Thanks for all those who have written to me . Just thought I would put in some snaps of the season gone by. The dilli sardi, the burnt oranges and reds of winter giving way to the earthy hues of spring. Each travel we made has been close to heart..Some travels have been just for fun, some for photography and some helped learn a lot... Each travel has associated memories with it and our house has been filled with little memorabilia and those remain as memories for the future .They remain to shine in all the frames that i photograph..
